The New Look of Baltimore Research

Post by Ted Donnelly

Hi there and welcome to the new Baltimore Research site. We appreciate you taking time out of your schedule to see our new face on the web. It has been a very long and sometimes tedious process, so it is exciting to see it culminate in our new look. It has been some time since we did our last site so I forgot how much time it takes. Also, like any product that matures, there are so many more options than there were last time around.  It’s a bit like buying a car or building a house. The sky really is the limit.  So many decisions and issues have been swirling around in our heads: meta tags, navigation bar, color palate, SEO, home page, hosting, FTP, static HTML, call to action.

Ultimately, though, our needs were simple. As a business services provider, we wanted a clean site that made it easy and painless to find the desired information.  Whether the visitor is interested in finding out about our research service offerings, signing up to become a valued research participant or simply managing the travel arrangements through our Guest Services portal, we want the relevant content found effortlessly.

The one message we wanted to convey is that there is creativity in everything we do. Whether we are laying out a research methodology, tackling a challenging recruiting issue or designing focus suites that will inspire, we do not believe in the path of least resistance.  Our company mission is to help bring clarity to our clients’ research problems and facilitate the discovery of actionable insights. This is best achieved with a healthy dose of creativity. We hope that comes across in many ways on the new pages of our site.

One thing we hear from new clients upon their first visit to the facility is that they have never been to a facility like ours and they had no idea how unique we were.  Obviously, we have a section to showcase our eight state of the art research suites…nothing too unique about that! However, we brought some of those images right to the homepage so visitors can quickly glean what we are all about.

So please spend a few minutes on our new home on the web. Let us know what you think. Is there anything you like? Anything you don’t like? Anything that’s missing? We’d love to hear from you.
